Description
The lemon Eureka comes from California State, and was created from seed of the Lunario variety. For years several clones selections from the variety Eureka were made which ended making a citrus fruit very juicy and with a special acidity. The lemon eureka can be picked all year, even though the best time would be between October and February to get the best quality. The crop of lemon eureka can be centred in both wet and dry climates with an annual precipitation between 50 and 110cm as a minimum. The lemon Eureka fits perfectly well to dry soils making the Region of Murcia the perfect area for citrus fruit production. The lemons Eureka provide endless benefits: they are digestive helping stomach problems, turn out to be astringent, they have huge dermatological benefits, they are analgesic, a perfect anti-flue medicine, and because of its anti-inflammatory properties they can help prevent varicose veins.

Physical features
The shape of the lemon is elliptical, of good size and thin, it has a small neck in its base and a small apical mamelon surrounded by an areolar furrow. It contains a lot of juice of high acidity. One of its perfect uses is as a juice, a sorbet or hailed ice cream. It can also be used as deglazed, as dip or marmalade. Its skin can be used in baking for its strong flavour as well as in juices.
