Description
The Siroco 5 donut peach is a new variety designed by the Instituo Murciano de Investigación y Desarollo Agrario y Alimentario (IMIDA). It’s the first extra early variety than can be cropped in temperate climates like the one of the Region of Murcia by needing less cold hours than others varieties. At the same time, it maintains all of its flavour and quality, that is to say, low acidity and high concentration of sugar. The Siroco 5 donut peach contains a lot of water, so it hydrates quite a lot and has a lot of antioxidants, helping prevent cancer. For its high percentage of minerals and vitamins it helps the nervous system too.

The Siroco 5 donut peach presents redness on the outside and a yellow flesh in the inside. It weighs approximately 75g and is of medium size. Its shape is circular and has a bone in its inside.
